Happy Face 29
Being There 1979 Hal Ashby film about a dunce who's never left the house where he's worked in the garden his entire life. When his boss dies he has to go into the outside world. Being in the right place at the right time and his childlike simplicity means he fairs a little better in this regard than Bad Boy Bubby. Peter Sellers was Oscar nominated. It's very funny and intelligent and moving. It's only £5.47. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...indhotelinth-
Ayatollah Hermione 13867
The Mummy. Never seem such a memorising transition of creature to sand in some trippy sleek way for such an elegant exit. Impotent, I mean Imotep walking around in a waistcoat sucking his victims dry of sex wee in return for 25% regeneration per vicitm to human in search of his fantasty love, Anaksunapoon and sex ornaments to give the ritual a proper opening. Thumbs firmly up from me! Sounds like a porn I watched once. Girl, have you been hanging with Moses? Because I can see some C's being parted. Guest Tuco Ramirez
I know everyones seen it loads of times, but I watched the good the bad and the ugly the other night for 1000th time. I could watch it again now. A true classic in every sense of the word. Musically the best film ever made, an amazing production for a show made in Italy on a small budget. It leaves you wondering what's happened to Tuco at the end, you just know if he had the gun though he'd have fuckin robbed Blondie, a Fist Full of Dollars didn't quite reach the same heights. Ayatollah Hermione 13867
Oh yeah, I seen Inception tonight. Loved it. Really tense finale that just kept upping and upping the stakes with a good ending. Tom Hardy is good again and some of the fight scenes reminded me of seeing The Matrix for the first time in how they were doing stuff I'd never really seen before. Well recommended. I think this might be at least part of the reason I love Kill Bill Vol. 2 so much- I hear the music and get filled with nostalgia of watching The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly with my pops back in the day. Brilliant film. When that fancy re-release came out in around 2004 or 2005, I got it for my father-in-law for Father's Day. We watched it immediately, then went to the range and shot cowboy guns. Great film, great memories.
ewerk 30610
Righteous Kill - What a load of shite, how they convinced De Niro and Pacino to take part is beyond me.

It was mainly filmed in Spain (Almeria iirc). That's not me being a smartarse btw, I just thought you'd be interested. Obviously Italian production / direction hence the term 'Spaghetti Western'. Love those films btw and like you say the Morricone soundtrack on this and other ones are brilliant.

Park Life 71
Just back from Inception. Absolutely class. First time I've seen anything in Imax, and it was a good one to start with. Going Thu night.

DanTheMan 0
Toy Story 3. 10/10- just perfect. Think it helped I had kept away from all the spoilers/publicity so I had no idea about the plot. Man, the animation was superb, can't believe Pixar had a cinema of people crying over CGI toys! Agree with luke, they're producing some beautiful stuff these days. JawD 99
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Didn't know anything about it until wor lass said that the DVD of the first book was out and she wanted to see it. She's read three of the books I think. Watched it with her and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty much your basic "who dunnit" but it its a good pace and I never felt bored during it. Its in swedish with English subtitles. You can on the blue ray opt for english dub, but that would have drove me nuts. Odd though I found myself turning the volume up when I couldnt hear it properly even though I was reading subtitles
