ewerk 30167
I'm far from a film buff and maybe it was because I watched it with some decent headphones on but I did think that the use of sound was top class.

Anth 113
Pi is good like, even though its usually on some of the most pretentious 'top ten' film lists on the Internet. Incidentally the bloke who plays Max Cohen is also the doctor at the end of Requiem for a dream. Which I think is really overhyped. Though I like the scenes where his mother slowly descends into amphetamine based psychosis Edited September 30, 2008 by Anth

Anth 113
Aye, quite different films too. Aranofsky (spelling)- Has done anything else?
Happy Face 29
Aye, quite different films too. Aranofsky (spelling)- Has done anything else? The Fountain Was in the Empire top 500 I posted last week, but i've heard lots of bad reviews too. Very pretentious they say. Which I suppose is unsurprising given his other films. Personally I wasn't particularly keen on either of those so I wasn't too fussed on seeing it. Edited September 30, 2008 by Happy Face

David Kelly 1217
Cheers,Think I'll steer clear. One film I haven't seen but have been recommended recently is Eraserhead, anyone seen it? I aquired it a while ago but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet due to the complete attention I think you need to be able to give a David Lynch film. That's not very helpfull I know so I'll add the fact that every Lynch film is worth watching with Mulholland Drive being the pick for me as it has the added bonus of hot lesbo action. Happy Face 29
I enjoyed Blue Velvet very much. But I've tried starting Eraserhead a couple of times without getting past a few minutes. It's difficult.
David Kelly 1217
Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks, The Straight Story and The Elephant Man are all class and Wild At Heart is a very good Lynch light. Dune is supposed to be shite but I haven't seen that or INLAND EMPIRE.
