Delicatessen - Never seen it before. Good stuff.

Reminded me quite a bit of Gilliam's stuff.

Reminds me I have City of Lost Children still to watch.

It's quite disappointing after the high of Delicatessen.

Well im on cheap cinema tickets these days as I refuse to pay £7.15 at the metro. From now on its matinees at the gate (£4), films at durham cinema (4.50), or 2 for 1 tickets at the gate on a wednesday (£6.80).

Saw sex and the city with my lass, wasnt too bad, lots of SJP in her undies. Then saw Indiana Jones. Was slightly surprised it was about the roswell crash!!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the black pearl

Ignoring the performances of Johnny Depp, the whole trilogy is absolute gash.

worried about how they're going to do Thor. He's supposed to be a God-like being, from a race who visited Earth ages ago giving birth to the Asgardian legends. It's all a bit silly though (Silly for comics, so that's saying something) I'm hoping they'll do it similarly to the Ultimates storyline, where he's not accepted as an Asgard God, just a superhero who's a freaking whackjob and believes he's some Norse God. (Only they discover later that he is in fact an alien, with spacko powers)

.... god I'm a geek

Wanted - Brilliant film.

I heard that it's a completley awful film and only the special effects is the only real ok-ish thing about it.

Parky already does those sort of reviews on here mate.

Juno. Alright but I thought it was trying a bit too hard to be edgy and not mainstream. Some funny bits though.

The Other Side Of The Bed. A Spanish rom-com with musical interludes. A lot better than it sounds, fortunately.

The big Lebowski.

It's been a while since I've seen this and after watching O Brother, Where art thou? the night before I remembered why I love and hate Coen brothers films.

Lebowski is one of those films with really great characters teamed up with really shite characters. Guys (or dudes) you like and complete fuckheads that just make you cringe with everything they do and the Coen brother have an art of producing those characters.

But in a parky scale of 1 to 10, I've heard it's worth a 7.5 <_<

First Snow. Guy Pearce as a bloke who gets told by a fortune teller that he has no future past the first snow. Not bad Pearce is good as always.

Planet Terror. Brilliant, I thought it worked perfectly as was more fun than Death Proof.

The Good The Bad & The Ugly. Arguably the greatest film ever made.

Not a film but the last episode of Twin Peaks. Brilliant. How's Annie?

The quality really dropped off in Hitchcocks last 5 films, but i think this was probably the best of that group for me. I'm amazed to see IMDB has it down as the lowest rated of them though. My guess is it might be down to James Bond. This film came 7 years after Dr No and as a Spy movie it has none of the action set pieces that the viewers would have come to expect. As a slow burning story of poltical espionage centred around the Cuban missile crisis though, I thought it was adequate.
