Bringing Out The Dead - Nicholas Cage in good movie shocker.

The Rock, Con Air. :victory:

Face Off :icon_lol:

I am Castor Troy!

Adaptation.

I'm sure we did this before and realised he's hardly been in a bad film, or was that in the pub? :cuppa:

Wild at Heart.

I think you're right Happy Face.

Raising Arizona is still overrated though. :icon_lol:

Wild at Heart is class. I haven't seen adaptation. He's made some stinkers though. Leaving Las Vegas was canny come to think of it. Edit: Lord of War though :cuppa:

Lord of War is wank, and I've not heard a good word about The Weather Man.

Raising Arizona is brilliant. I know you aren't a fan like.

Changing the subject, I just want to post this somewhere...

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz stars as the wife of a flamboyant painter (Javier Bardem) in Woody Allen's latest romantic comedy, Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Aye, I heard about that a couple of weeks ago. I love Penelope Cruz, I must say. The only slight reservation I have is that she seems a much better actress in her native tongue. I might have to give 'Raising Arizona' another airing at some point I reckon.

Watched it the other day, fucking shite. Typical Cage cheese but with more spray on hair.

I wasn't that impressed like when I saw it. I didn't really give it my full attention in fairness though. You don't really like the Coen Brothers in general though, do you?

I don't know, but Woody appears to have the same idea.

I think you're right, the trailer is out and he's got them Lezzing up together....

A Cage film = a turkey in this moment of time.

Ghost Rider

The Wicker Man (Absolute tripe)

World Trade Center

Lord of War

I wouldn't say Next stood out alot....

To name just a few of his recents.

National Treasure also got slated but I thought it was harmless fun.

Done some decent stuff but don't really understand what the big wankfest with them is all about.

Not far away from my view of them really. They've done a few class films though imo.

My dad is a massive fan, I've seen most of their films. They're quite good, and O Brother is one of my favourite films, but they're definitely overhyped to an extent. Never saw what was so earth shatteringly great about Fargo, or *whispers* The Big Lebowski.

Although I enjoyed No Country For Old Men, it was textbook Cohen - quirky characters, botched crime, smart dialog, abrupt and somewhat unsatisfying ending.

The ending's the same as the book though, I think. I preferred TBL and Fargo to OBWAT like, although I thought that was decent. I really liked Miller's Crossing and I thought Barton Fink was class although it's years since I've seen the latter. And I'm still not sure if Parky was winding me up about 'Blood Simple'.

Doomsday - Mad max-esque I enjoyed it, made by that Geordie director who made Dog soldiers he done well for what I think is another lower budget film I think he's meant to be getting a bigger budget for his next one.
