Hes better off sticking to bit parts in snatch and lock stock. His accent in this drifts from broad cockney, to terrible american to australian. And they always give him martial arts stunts to perform yet he cant lift his leg above knee height. Jet Li should be embarrassed he lent his name to this one. Have you seen him in Crank? Fuck me, that was woeful. Wasn't sure whether to give this one a go. Will be avoiding it now. Crank is more like a comedy. What about the bit where he gives his lass one? Not viewed as their best, but personally I love it to bits. Black and white noirish thriller that looks stunning. A lot of people watch Lebowski or OBWAT and don't see the humour, and this one buries it even lower, but nevertheless it is hilarious. Ed Crane, the barber who never speaks (Billy Bob Thornton) gives the performance of his life, uttering only a few words, it all come from his face. Just bought it from eBat along with Blood Simple, another Coen Brothers film. I bought them because they were involved in Paris Je T'aime. A film of 13 or so short stories. Quite a diverse set of stories of love all set on Paris. Actors include Steve Buscemi, Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe, Nick Nolte, Bob Hoskins, Elijha Wood, Natalie Portman and Gerard Depardieu. Kind of a "its not his fault" slant on the movie but he came through in the end and realised his ways. (Dont want to spoil it all...but probably have) The Last King of Scotland. I was expecting a masterpiece after all the hype. I was let down. Fracture. A tad far fetched. Poor ending.
