Kevin Carr's Gloves 4112
A snappy cuff on the ear works I find. Or loud yawing. Soft nonce, I like to take a garotte to the cinema with me for just this kind of situation.
The Fish 11129
Lion is good. Saw it last night. (Great review.) People who go to the cinema are getting worse btw. A middle aged couple just out-loud talking as if they were on Gogglebox. I'd want a spotlight shone on any annoying tossers. Pause the movie, illuminate the gobby cunts, and ask them to shut the fuck up or leave. Kermode's got the right idea with his code of conduct. Gemmill 47832
[emoji38] The only time I came close to that was when they showed his real mam meeting his Aussie mam in the credits. I was fine apart from that.
Kid Dynamite 7379
Enjoyed Lion too. A couple of minor pacing issues but shits all over Manchester by the sea
ewerk 31825
La La Land - It looks fantastic but other than that it's a fairly dull romantic story with a bit of very average singing and dancing thrown in. Emma Stone didn't look as hot as usual so def loses a couple of stars for that.

I've been pushing to watch I,Daniel Blake for 2 weeks so she's not getting a second viewing of Ryan Gosling singing worse than me.
Dr Gloom 22847
I thought it was class. Nostalgic piece of Hollywood escapism.
Renton 22762
My wife went to see it with some mombies last night. She loves musicals, but thought this was mediocre at best.
adios 717
Recently watched Arrival and Train to Busan. Thought both were superb. Really surprised at the divided opinion on the former. Best film I've seen in quite a while. The latter is more action than horror. Best Korean zombie movie I've seen in a long time.
Renton 22762
Cheers for the tip mate. I've been after watching a Korean zombie movie for a while now because the last one I watched was only average.

Dr Gloom 22847
Didn't think arrival was all that. Just watched hidden figures. Canny but I don't think it'll get the best film/director oscar. 7/

Park Life 71
Hidden figures was acceptable but its attempts at sociology-political commentary was very shaky.
PaddockLad 18105
T2, enjoyed it and as others have said it could've been massively disappointing, but I think it may have slightly overdone the references to the first film. It took a lot more from the original book than I was expecting and not a great deal from the second, and I suppose having decided that this film should have a nostalgic narrative, looking back at their youth, that's understandable. Dissappointed Juice Terry didn't make an appearance though
Howay 12496
Watched that War Dogs last night. Thought it was canny tbh, I've enjoyed all the films I've seen with Miles Teller in them (haven't seen that fantastic 4 one ) and I thought Jonah Hill was really good in it. Think it went a bit long really but was enjoyable overall.

Think it went a bit long really but was enjoyable overall. Don't bother, it's a fucking mess. Sounds like Trank wanted to do a more personal, indie type of movie and the Studio wanted more booms, bangs and Baysplosions. Mind you, I've no idea who decided to fuck around with the bad guy. He's supposed to be an armour clad, imposing, ominous figure. Either Trank or the Studio turned him into an effete glittery emo. /nerd
David Kelly 1310
Went to see T2 again yesterday and it was much a improved experience without the drunken bints. The scene when Renton and Sickboy go into that bar is brilliant. Watched Moonlight the other night too. I think it's much better than La La Land and Manchester By the Sea and the best of the Oscar nominated films I've seen so far. Aldo watched Internal Affairs and Akira recently, both for the first time, and thought they were both really good.

Kid Dynamite 7379
Saw T2 today. First half was good but thought it got a bit lost towards the end. I saw the ending a mile off. Wish Begbie hadnt got a crew cut too. The singing in the bar scene was a highlight whereas I think it's hard to pick a highlight in the original as the whole film is so good
