Dr Gloom 21924
A lot of classic 80s movies haven't aged well. I watched flight of the navigator with my boy recently. The Fish 10857
You've never watched Platoon?! That's more shocking than Ewerk's cinematographically impoverished childhood! Edited July 19, 2016 by The Fish
Happy Face 29
Surprised you haven't seem Twelve Monkeys like. I've started it a couple of times. Didn't like it and unable to finish. Never like Brazil either. Actually, think the only Gilliam films I've liked at all were the Python ones. Don't care for Bladerunner either. A trilogy of dystopian future films it's frowned upon to say bored me.

ChezGiven 0
Bladerunner is great, watched it first when i was about 12 so i think that may have had some influence. Its also (felt like) one of the most sampled films of all times, during the rave years there was always some track with samples from it. Then there was the classic 'Remake' track of the Vangelis theme that was on Renaissance.
Happy Face 29
You've never watched Platoon?! That's more shocking than Ewerk's cinematographically impoverished childhood! I bought the dvd and it wouldn't work in my player so I gave it to a mate. I think I probably have seen at least 90% of it. I don't remember sitting down to watch it from start to finish, but I think I've seen most of it across multiple Channel 4 Sunday night screenings. Americans go to the jungle. Kill, Rape & pillage. Hurts them more than their victims. Right?
