There's a good blu ray version of this.

Great film that like. Beat Takeshi is excellent, as usual. That scene with the dice as well :icon_lol:

It was dredful man. A clunky mashup of old Robocop ideas and comicbook villans. I sat there thinking is this the guy that did the 'prawns' film?

There was that one funny car nicking scene which had me really laughing tho.

It obviously had some Robocop references in it. Don't think I've ever seen a film that makes a robot seem human as well as this did though

Each to their own but it's better than a lot of shite I've seen at the cinema recently

I saw Chappie the other night too. Thought it was ok although far too much of a Robocop copy and it didn't really seem to know what tone it wanted to take. Could have easily been a kids film if not for swearing and violence at the end. I thought Jackman and in particular Dev Patel were awful in it mind. The non actors put in much better performances. Still quite enjoyed it as a bit of a no brainer. A letdown after District 9 though.

Home.

Not just a Swiss film, but a rather good Swiss film. :o It's all about the gradual impact living next to a busy motorway has on a family. (It's more interesting than I make it sound. )

The fella's away so I'm catching up with all the wanky foreign films I've bought and never got out of the plastic. In that spirit: In A Better World. Lifted by some really, really good performances, but a but heavy-handed on the moralising front. Makes sense it did well at the Oscars then. Also Danish is a patently ridiculous language.

Like a kids film with a couple of action scenes. Dreadful.

Aye, I know, just being a tit. Violent Cop is probably my favourite of his. When he's slapping that bloke in the bathroom

It's quality aye

180deg South.

On Netflix, it's a documentary about a surfer/climber taking a boat from US to Patagonia, inspired by and featuring footage of the 1968 trip there made by Yvon Chouinard, big-wall climbing legend and founder of Black Diamond climbing equipment.

It's very well paced and shot and it's no spoiler to say that he spends time Cathstruck on Easter Island

Watched Taken 3 down Sunderland the other neet, canny show. It's probably the first third film that has been far better than 1 and 2.
