Park Life 71
Moneyball Really enjoyed it. Nice story about the lesser club cleverly recruiting lower priced players in an attempt to outdo the bigger clubs who are throwing millions at it. Leazes, you wont enjoy it! They didn't win anything though. See I thought best not to spoil the ending ........and it's all but fucked up Liverpool.
brummiemag1 0
Not a film but I'm currently two thirds of the way through the first series of Broadwalk Empire. Its tremendous, best series/film I've seen for years, reminds me of the Godfather and Goodfellas. Anyone seen the second series?

These kinds of things have the time for character development there just isn't room for in films anymore.
Howmanheyman 32596
Watched 'agora' last night on sky. Never heard of it before but as it was set in ancient Alexandria I thought I'd see what it was like. Rachel Weizz (sp) being in it helped its cause too. She's a Greek philosopher who ends up being murdered by religious fanatics. (Christians). It was ok.

Jill 0
Watched Snowtown most recently. Quite engaging, good film overall I thought, if a little confusing in places - I was probably better off for knowing of the story already.

JawD 99
Cabin in the woods. Story is poor, no tension, but a classic b movie style romp. Funny in parts and decent effects without going ott on gore. It's basically modern Evil Dead with an extra 30 mins

Gemmill 44098
Part one of the George Harrison documentary. Saving part two for tomorrow. It's been good. I always just find it crazy watching old footage/photos of them just going about their business of being in a band, when you think of how huge it all ended up being (and still is). Mind I wish he'd never learned the sitar. Meditate all you want, but put that fucking noisy thing down and pick your guitar up.

Plus some of the songs he used sitar on are class, so shut the fuck up poindexter.
Gemmill 44098
They would have been better without it. It is impossible to improve something by adding the sound of a sitar to it.
