Bombadil 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 The thing is, on paper we have a good run of games coming up - Pompey (h), Villa (a), Charlton, Everton and Bolton (all home games) - with a decent manager, we would easily be capable of getting 13-15 points, which should see us back in the Top 8. Man City aren't exactly invincible either, they've lost four times at home this season (which is more than us I think). The fact that we have one of the most incompetent managers in football and will be lucky to avoid five straight defeats makes the whole situation even more depressing.
