I’m not entirely sure Evan is very well informed about what has been going on at Twitter.

Let's hope he does replicate what he did at Twitter. Reduced it's value by 80%. If he does that to the US it's economy will be similar to Germany's.

I hope Mogensen knocks the cunt out. In fact I’d pay for that. Might set up a Kickstarter.

I would imagine to become the captain of the ISS you would have to be the most elite of the elite? But no, you can accomplish this whilst being "fully retarded" apparently.

THese tree hugger types like Gloomy are usually all mouth and no trousers, they're not going to boycott Tesla in great numbers imo. He'll also use his influence to dominate the space market making it uncompetitive for others.

There are many towns where the government agencies are the major employer and via that, a massive, and critical part of local economies.

This can't end well.

I'm guessing redundancy protection is nowt over there? I managed 4 months of gardening leave in 2010 and then offered another job because the NHS couldn't afford to make me redundant.

This is exactly what he did at Twitter and that worked so well.

Also, I'd imagine US public service is pretty stripped back as it is, they're not known for their big welfare state. Cutting 50% of staff is likely to completely collapse departments.

When my old company was taken over by the AI techbros, the US office was by far the first to be shut down, more or less overnight. Essentially no protections, like you say.
