Looks like he's died. That's horrendous if true, for him and his family first and foremost obviously. I wonder what sort of insurance clubs have for that sort of thing? £18mil is a big hit for a club of Cardiff's size

Apparently it needed 3 or 4 attempts to take off. Personally I'd have questioned it's flight worthiness after the first failed attempt

Can't imagine why a person of some stature, and perhaps not short of money, would get on a small plane to fly from France to Cardiff.

A bigger plane may have been more inconvenient but would have been quicker, more comfortable, and probably safer.
