There is plenty of experience in that squad without including Henderson - from players who can actually do a job too. No matter his explanation it makes little sense.

I agree but it’s not difficult to work out why he’s done it. He’s picked two England captains from the Southgate regime who’ve won the fucking lot domestically and in Europe and have been to finals with England precisely because they’ve won the fucking lot domestically and in Europe  and have been to finals with England 😁
