Got to say no football today and no football on New Year’s Day is fuckin abysmal. Is this down to what Geoff fuckin Bezos wants?… Sky and TNT have gazumped the cunt for the foreseeable but I don’t hold out any hope that much will change. There's a charity called the Association of Former Manchester United Players that looks after players from previous eras who don't have the sort of money the modern players get. 

 

They haven't received their last two quarterly payments from the club (it usually pays 4 x £10k per year), and when they've got in touch they've been told the club is ending its association with the charity. They reckon they might fold now.

 

Ratcliffe is an absolute scumbag. I bet this isn't the only community related thing he's pulling funding for. They deserve fuck all success under this bloke.

I don’t think anyone in the British game carries more clout though…. I think he’ll put a word in on behalf of the ex players. Whether he gets a positive response is highly unlikely tbh and at that point he might go to a pet journo and really put the boot in 🥾
