I don’t think anyone in the British game carries more clout though…. I think he’ll put a word in on behalf of the ex players. Whether he gets a positive response is highly unlikely tbh and at that point he might go to a pet journo and really put the boot in 🥾

Aye, the club have said a new stadium could double our ticket revenue, which would be an extra £40m. Probably through a lot more hospitality packages. Plus a new design would see us able to host concerts, particularly if it had a retractable roof.

Real Madrid have made an offer for TAA for the Jan window, which Liverpool have rejected. He'll go there for free in the summer anyway, so presumably Liverpool are resigned to that and just don't want to derail their title challenge.
