there's a cocaine epidemic in the country. used to be a rich man's drug but that is no longer the case - it's everywhere. it's particularly noticeable today at big sport events in a way that probably didn't exist in the football hooligan days of the 80s. though i imagine it's widespread use helped fuel the awful signs at the final of euro 2020 (in 2021) at wembley

Looking back I think it’s an epidemic that’s just gotten worse and worse. I think you probably need to go back decades for it have been a rich man’s drug. But I do think it’s more widespread (and presumably cheaper?) than ever. Incidentally us and another couple were in the lakes the weekend just gone. We got a taxi back to the place after having a meal and a couple of drinks in Windermere Town. All four of us were of the opinion our driver was coked up. He must’ve been about 45 years old, at a guess. Certainly not a young lad. I know that in itself doesn’t prove anything but it does hint at how commonplace it’s become.

To calm TBD down and put him in his happy place. He's got re runs of Bernard Manning on after.

I would agree with the rich man's drug. I would say it's a lot more available now just from people I speak to. Considering we are the largest exporter in the world of cannabis then it must be cheap as fuck so the price of coke surely has to come down to compete?

I am maeve as fuck as I don't have a clue what someone would look like coked up 😂 bin dipper comes in some days hanging and it's clear he's been out because he sounds like he's got a cold coming and he's always clearing his throat and coughing and sniffing. I always assumed that was a mix of hangover and been coked up the night before.

my stepsister is a doctor and says there’s been a massive increase in the number of young working class men men with heart problems due to combining steroids during the week with coke at the weekends

My lass is a cardiovascular nurse and sees it a lot too. Especially the coke and people combining it with weekend binge drinking. And increasingly with younger and younger men usually. And that’s just the ones willing to admit it. So, aye, epidemic is probably a good description.

Listened to the Monday Night Club poddy.  They were mostly talking about what a basket case UNITED were.  Rory Smith who I like was sating how its still conceivable that UNITED could win the league by 2030 as they're such a big club and rich.  It's laughable init?  They're makiing loads of losses, Ten Nonce has spent £600m on his own. Yet we can't send fuck all.  Tell me how fucking bent it is.
