I mean there is self promotion, and then there is mental illness. Some fucking "football expert" from the Athletic (I think) has just talked to Adrian Chiles on R5 and listed some clubs Allerdyce saved from relagation and included us in the list! Apparently West Brom doesn't count either because of covid as well, must have hit the Black Country harder than the rest for some reason. Saved us from Relegation? We were in fucking Europe the previous season. Jesus Christ, he got rid of anyone who could play the ball on the deck and replaced them with, well exactly who Sam Allardyce would buy.
