As well as they've done in the league this season, it does feel like Slot has got a rebuilding job on his hands in the summer. 

 

All the more reason to sort Isak's situation out now.

If TAA leaves and Salah does too that’s their two main creative options gone. It seems nailed on in both cases

Ah I didn't realise he was out of contract too. Fair enough.

 

To Rayvin's point though, it doesn't mean they can't afford Isak. I don't know what their PSR position is.

They need to replace TAA with someone quality. You'd think that's going to run them north of 60-70m. It's clear that they don't have anyone else who can create to a high standard.

 

They have to replace Salah on right wing. I suppose they could spend on Isak and go weak on right instead but that doesn't "improve" them and their system is already set up around what they have. Isak doesn't replace Salah.

 

So for me they need to spend big on RW, TAA replacement (somewhere in the field) and then to add Isak for 150m on top? Are they gonna be spending close to 300m this summer..?

Jota and Diaz actually used to be very decent for them. They're both only 28 as well.

 

Just shows you regular freshening up of the squad is necessary even if you're doing well. Very few players can keep being successful in the same role year after year.

I already know one handshake so I’ll stick with that one.

Dougie Freedman is leaving his role as Sporting Director at Palace at the end of the season. Apparently taking a role in Saudi. 
 

Interesting choice after turning us down.
