Antonia De Sancha. I dredged that shit up from the silty riverbed that is my teenage wank bank and remember my bedsheets at the time were like plywood such was the power of Spanish little minx.

Great memories, Gemm. :good:

Sir Rat rambling on about how shite some of his ManU players are. I mean we all know that but the owner taking names in public should really do wonders for their valuation in the summer

I really enjoy the way Ratcliffe and Amorim witter on endlessly in the press about how shit they're doing and what a clusterfuck their club is. As if it doesn't reflect badly on them! In their situation I'd say it's better to say nothing and look stupid, than open your mouths and confirm it.

Radtcliffe is further confirmation that the most successful CEOs are successful because they're complete and utter cunts without a shred of self-awareness or capacity for empathy.

Yep, pyschopaths every one of them. The only things they care about is loss of money and loss of face. Hopefully Ratcliffe continues to get both in large measure from the Salford Reds

He also confirms that you don't have to be clever to be successful. He's a complete fucktard.

I actually Googled her because of that quote, not having read Gemmills original post, and was thoroughly disappointed

That club are entirely fucked. Still believing in their past hype, massively on the wane and in ridiculous debt and now they intend to inflict live-action misery on 1/10th of a million people...

:suicide:

Tucked away in a BBC article....

".....Manchester United, currently £1bn in debt, are yet to say how they plan to pay for the stadium."

:cuppa:

The government obviously. I mean isn't that what Jim pays his taxes for?

Aye, just seen it on the Guardian (The Manchester United paper).

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/mar/11/manchester-united-new-stadium-next-to-old-trafford-norman-foster

Looks like something suited to Dubai to me, absolute shite. I cannot see anyway this could economically viable outside one of the World's megacities. They're sacking half their non-football jobs to save money as it is. Will be a disaster, hopefully.

I honestly want to heave man, gonna benefit the ENTIRE north of england by all accounts.

Aye, the trains between northern cities are buses on wheels that go at 30mph but sure, the benefits will positively radiate out of Manchester

100,000 capacity - that's punchy in an era of new build stadiums with more conservative capacities.

it would be terrible for them if they remain in midtable obscurity and their new ground resembles those massive old italian stadiums with loads of empty seats

I started watching that interview this morning and put it off after 5 minutes. Boring, self regarding tosspot of a bloke.

The BBC arselicking him and granting him that interview is almost as unsavoury as he is

We had an away day a year or two back that was split between Manchester and London and it was significantly easier and quicker for me to get to Canary Wharf via train and the tube than it would’ve been to go to Manchester
