I take issue with this article tbh. 
They give The Beige the title of “closest pub to the ground”, quoting the Villa Tavern, which is nowhere near. 
The Holte is within sight of the ground, but…err…

He is obviously very talented but I think he has lost his desire. If the new manager won't even consider him then there is definitely something going on behind the scenes. He is on mega money as well so they are having trouble shifting him.
