he's a luxury player imo. when the team is ticking over nicely he can play attacking midfield but thats about it for me.  nice close control control but short as fuck.

 

he's "one of our own" so he gets that standard bit of extra grace that that bracket gets.

You pay the going rate, don't you. We're talking about numbers where it's just impossible to wrap your head around in terms of "is he worth that" etc. 

 

If he gets you promoted from League 2 to the PL in consecutive seasons, you'd argue he probably is.
