Certain journalists would've slaughtered certain other clubs for this but West Ham are well represented in journalism so there'll not be too much said about it or any scorn poured on them.

I had a book that the football writer’s association brought out with old articles about different games and issues etc, someone made that exact point; at some point there was lots of senior football  journalists who supported the hammers 😑
