Serious attitude problem IMO.

This can only be based on him thinking Jose was a prick (which he is) and ETH was a useless, bald fraud (which he is)

He has a similar attitude to Gordon IMO at least off the pitch.

The only problem is his work rate on the pitch. He doesn't track back at all and when he isn't scoring goals he doesn't offer a lot else.

That being said if Howe could get him bought into his way of working there is no doubting his ability - a consistent Rashford is world class IYAM - the problem is he isn't and has never been consistent so it all falls down right from the outset

Don’t want to play the itk here but i know that rashford has spent a fortune buying a golf club and turning it into a house, his long term GF was doing all the design work, and they have broken up.

I know footballers aren’t allowed to struggle with form despite personal issues, I would love him here but his wages are out of reach.

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. You can blame managers all you want but a good professional will take personal accountability. He's been off form more often than on it and is exactly the sort of mistake we need to avoid. Cheering his team on on Twitter on the Sunday then saying he wants to leave on the Tuesday. The manager left him out for various reasons and instead of admitting his shortcomings and treating it as a challenge he's decided to fuck off elsewhere for an easier life.

Oh, and going to his old school to drop off presents while making sure a friendly journalist is there to witness it? Let no good deed go unpublicised.

Agreed with this.

Plus, he's 27 years old now.  It's not like he's a bairn.

Can anyone afford to A, buy him and B, pay him?

Sure; Chelsea, PSG, Man City, Spurs, and depending on the deal there could be clubs who loan him with an obligation, while Man Utd keep paying the lion's share of his wages.

Spurs highest paid player is on £190k a week. Rashford is on £300k, Chelsea would have to sell just because their squad is full, PSG might I suppose.

Not sure who'd pay him £200k plus at the minute other than Saudi clubs. Might end up having to take a pay cut or Man Utd paying a chunk.

Rashford would either need to take a paycut, or Man Utd be convinced to cover a portion.

It seems every window we say that about Chelsea before they buy another 35 players.

Oh, well, if you suppose...

As an aside, it’s crazy how so many uber talented young players taper off in their late 20s these days. Alli, Rashford, even Sterling to an extent. By product of playing so many games at such a young age? I’d add Sancho but he’s even younger and time seems to suggest he was a flash in the pan

That doesn’t really help them other than getting his wages off the books which I presume aren’t huge. They still have to depreciate his transfer fee because they can’t afford to take that hit.

EPL will probably let them transfer it to a hotel or something shit though.
