Pope - OUT

So the goalkeepers from three of the bottom five teams get a call up but the keeper from the team with the third meanest defence gets dropped?

I don't think there is much between all of them. Pope has been fairly dodgy of late and his distribution doesn't endear himself to International football.

Micah Richards is arguing they should have let him away with it cos "what advantage is he really gaining there?"

He's fucking thicker than whale spunk. They should just go back to the rule of it needing to clear the area.

Richard’s analysis of tactics and players is woeful. He needs to just go back to the light hearted punditry or his appeal will disappear.

That massive fake laugh and arse kissing will keep him on at the moment.

I feel like he has being doing less of that recently in order to be taken seriously. Not that I’ve watched him much, but he is definitely heading that way on the Rest is Football poddy.

I think you're right. He just needs to be himself. He has a laugh and does know what he's talking about when he's more about having a laugh etc rather than trying to be Pep.

He gets a lot of shit, but I like Richards, even if he can be a bit "look at me, I'm Zabriskie". Point is, there's a time and a place for in-depth analysis, but Micah Richards on Match of the Day isn't it.
