All because "email traffic" dropped by 20% when one of his other companies tried a WfH Friday  - which in is mind means they were being less productive and not, you know, too busy fucking working to read and reply to absolute bullshit emails

Tenner says the real reason is that if all the staff are working from home he can't nonce after the attractive, young assistants he's employed. Typical billionaire.

One issue, though, is that United’s office spaces were reconfigured to suit those more flexible working arrangements over the past year, meaning there are not currently enough desks at their Manchester or London locations to fit every staff member. There is even less space in Manchester after a portion of the staff office space there was also turned into matchday hospitality.

As well as revamping United’s player-recruitment set-up, the consultancy firm Interpath Advisory has been hired to review the club’s business and operational costs. That started last month and will continue for several weeks.

One such cost-cutting measure is asking staff members to pay £20 to use a club-provided coach to the FA Cup final against Manchester City taking place on May 25. United’s staff have traditionally been offered a free ticket — which they will again receive — but they are being asked to contribute to the travel costs and will not be provided with food between Manchester and London. Another is removing company credit cards from staff members.

Half the emails were probably about that bitch in the office who keeps turning the heat down, or about the toilets being a biohazard after Erik deposited a footlong and clogged all up to fuck. Now Dave the cleaner is fucked off and emails the rest of his cleaner mates. Meanwhile there is an email trail going around to see who ate Jims yoghurt in the fridge.

He's gonna balls this right up and it's gonna be GREAT.

What’s the betting he (or a mate) owns the “underused” London offices

Big Jim needs to listen to Gary.

Gaz has obviously been won over by the charm offensive from Eddie and "The chook (TM)" on the overlap and have had a quiet word with Neville to make sure he states that the bald fraud stays on another year :D

Turning people's work lives upside down, giving them an effective pay cut through commuting costs, and giving them less than a month's notice that it's happening man.

There'll be people with dogs that will now have to go to day care, kids that will need picking up from school by someone, etc etc.

And all for what man, it's not gonna improve the performances on the pitch one iota if the admin assistant on £18k a year comes into the office or not.

He's obviously just a proper, nasty cunt.

Just typical of top-down thinking. Outmoded ideas that people only work hard when in the office, or that emails= productivity. I'm at my most productive when I'm at home getting on with the fucking job, not sending an email to Mike to see if he fancies a brew in 10 minutes.

*disclaimer I'm never particularly productive.
