It strikes me (I've not checked the facts to back this up) that Villa have gambled a lot more than we did.  Yes we spent but we recouped a lot.  I don't think they sold anyone of significance (I don't think they had anyone) so I think we wouldn't have been as badly off as they appear to be.  But no doubt we would have started struggling.

We would have been fucked big style, Rafa would have left and so would a lot of the squad. God only knows what would have happened then?

Oh aye I don't doubt that something like that would have happened.  I was just speaking from a purely financial sense based on what was spent and recouped.

Aye. I’m the same and even if I didn’t have Prime I wouldn’t give a fuck. Still if you read that paper you probably have R or L written on the inside of your shoes (and quite possibly tattooed on your feet)

Yeah I'm really not furious about this either. Prime is a fucking good service anyway (saves me every Christmas) and Amazon adding value to it is exactly what they should be doing to keep customers happy.

I'm shocked and appalled at you supporting such a modern day sweatshop.

The irony in people bashing those with a sky subscription but are happy to shell out £100 a year for free delivery on shit you don't need
