Was a penalty, Michael Oliver has balls of steel to award it. I expect he'll be waking up to a horses head next week in Ashington.
Dougle 3307
I think most folk from Ashington wake up with a horse's heed in their bed on a regular basis
OTF 7245
It was a definite penalty. Not sure what was said but the sending off of Buffon seems pretty harsh.

I just meant it smacked of the European version of what I call Red shirt rule - big clubs getting a disproportionate number of late pens in dubiously long injury time. ewerk 30243
Aye, you have to feel for the little guy, Juventus, in all this.
NJS 4371
It's all relative - Juventus are a huge club but Madrid are larger in EC/CL terms.
ewerk 30243
It was a fair penalty in the 92nd minute. It was a fair red card. The ref then allowed 9 minutes of added time so Juventus had a chance to get a winner. There's no conspiracy here.

Kid Dynamite 6986
Arsenal had a nice energy sapping game tonight with a long journey home from Moscow. It was 4-3 for a big chunk of the 2nd half. Lazio also managed to be 5-2 up on aggregate in the 55th min and lose 6-
Ayatollah Hermione 13794
Get us in Europe, man. We'll piss it by virtue of having a manager who actually bothers to coach his defenders.

I watched it online and we did ok considering how poor we seem to be at that level this season (losing multiple times to the reserve teams of championship or lower clubs) and we probably deserved the draw. The only players who looked like they had a chance of making it were that Fernandez (although he needs to learn when to release the ball a bit earlier) and Sangare who came on as a sub and looked head and shoulders above everyone else in the team. It was just a shame we couldn't get him on the ball more as he used it well every time he had it.
