Kid Dynamite 6986
Watching it at full speed it looked like he did everything he could to fling his arm out of the way imo. Either way the 2mins it took to decide was ridiculous

Either way the 2mins it took to decide was ridiculous Suppose that's where the "clear and obvious" thing comes in, if its a "you've seen them given" then it all hinges on what the ref asks the VAR. If hes going to give that and wants confirmation that he can, he'll get it. If he isn't going to give it and says "its hit his arm but I'm not convinced it was intentional" then the VAR won't say "you're definitely wrong" so the penalty won't be given. It definitely took too long though, but more because the technology in the stadium let them down, said in the VAR thread that it is ridiculous that the screen didn't work and they had nothing else to offer in a multi-million pound game, featuring two of the worlds richest clubs. RobinRobin 11122
Does the ref ask the VAR or is it the other way round, i.e. shouldn't you have another look at this? I think the VAR instigates the review, rather than, as in rugby, the ref asking the VAR to check.
LooneyToony 41
There were some excellent results for us today with both Fulham and Cardiff both losing.

Kid Dynamite 6986
Blyth had their keeper sent off after 20mins. No keeper on the bench so they had to put their all time top scorer in goal. 3-1 down in the 88th min Drew 3-3
Kid Dynamite 6986
Also, Messi scored his 50th hattrick today to take him to 650 career goals for Barca and Argentina. And that doesn't include the u21's, Barca B etc.

Ayatollah Hermione 13794
I hope Pep manages to convince him to have a year in England at some point. Will be brilliant to watch him nutmeg Lascelles for 90 minutes
ewerk 30265
The Chelsea keeper refusing to be substituted. Never seen anything like it.
Andrew 4718
Hes pretty much just sacked Sarri himself. Chelsea are a nonsense club these days, how many managers are the players going to get binned on purpose before Abramovic actually does something? ewerk 30265
It’s a weird situation because at the moment Chelsea can’t sell him because they can’t replace him. Could they have subbed him before the pens? Completely disrespectful to both the manager and the sub keeper.

Alex 34844
Loads of people would take that job. Worst case scenario is their reputation is in tatters and they’re £15m better off
Sonatine 11307
Doubt it would harm their reputation that much with the rate Chelsea go through managers. Still, nice work and money if you can get it. Edited February 24, 2019 by Sonatine
Ayatollah Hermione 13794
What they need is a proper football man. A Graeme Souness, if you will
Sonatine 11307
Chelsea are a cunts club anyway. Cunt owner, cunt managers, cunt players and lets not forget the cunt supporters. Is there anything likeable about them? No, there is not.

acrossthepond 867
That should be Kepa sacked tomorrow. Contract ripped up in front of his face and escorted out the building by security personnel. If he stays and Sarri goes then the entire club is poisoned. That was a disgrace. An embarrassment to the game.

Howay 12496
That was fucking mental I mean it was great for me watching as I hate Chelsea but if I supported them I’d be fuming with Kepa. Big decision for Abramovic, imo he has to stand by Sarri if he ever wants this short termism to end at Chelsea as it’s clear some of the players there think they can choose when the manager goes (and tbh they’ve been basically allowed to). Still can’t believe he just stood there wagging his finger at Sarri if he starts next week Sarri has rocks in his head. They never put the board up though did they? As if they had he would have had to go off or face getting carded surely?
