One mans junk is another mans treasure.

You're quite entitled to think what you want to, obviously, but then again, is there any other topics you wish to discuss on a forum like this?

Some people hate this stuff and prefer to talk about other things.

Some people hate politics and would find threads boring and basic crap.

Some people love sci-fi and others think it's just nonsense.

Everyone is different and that's what makes things more interesting, I think.

I understand how you find it interesting. I can't fathom how the others discussing it, who appear to be mentally sane, enjoy it though.

Right there is your biggest problem.

Rayvin has succinctly and considerately argued against your position, he's taken time to explain it in a way so as to be clear and concrete. Your response? "Nah it's a dupe".

For me it's infuriating when someone's claiming to know more than me, when they patently don't. :icon_lol:

e.g. I tend to steer clear of the Politics thread because the frequent contributors are more up to speed, more informed and have more fully formed opinions on the subject matter.

This bellend is trying to tell me that Satellites don't exist, tried to tell Rikko that his career as an engineer for Nuclear Subs is a web of lies, and trying to tell Parky he's wrong about conspiracy theories.

Then he weasels off with "I't just my opinion", "oh you don't understand because you're indoctrinated and not open minded like me", "oh I can't prove anything, but the proof you have is unacceptable to me as well"

There'll be a tipping point where I can't fucking stand it and just stop replying, but until then...

My intervention has been mainly cause I find it irritating when clowns like this give good intentioned conspiracy researchers a bad name.

Can you imagine people who absolutely hate football in every way, shape or form, can think of people who follow it as almost like a religion?

You see, it all depends on how something is viewed by any individual as a start and especially more intensely when a mass build up of people become involved.

To us, it's exciting and we can talk about how skilful so and so is and what a goal so and so scored.

People will go with a piece of paper and get a scribbled signature from a player.

People will cry when their team loses or get blathered in the pub in a merry stupor when they win.

Some will actually go and beat up another person who wears a different coloured shirt.

Many will come onto forums and try and obliterate (word wise) any opposing person who stands by a different team.

We all spend a lot of time debating all kinds of topics on one team and all players and yet we think its normal.

Other people will think we are basically animalistic goons or unintelligent freaks.

We can apply that to any sport or any pop music band or anything that people find interesting, that does not register as sane to a person who does not follow idolising, what they would deem as, nonsensical irrelevance.

Some people can't fathom why people question official lines and call them conspiracy nuts.#

Some people find it extremely interesting because they have suspicions about many things told to us officially.

Many people brush off tabloid news as garbage or TV news as jumped up nonsense in part and others will follow it to the letter as 100% legitimate.

I went a long way around simply saying that we are all different and by mass coaxing we can all be turned into pack animals.

I think Wolfy has far bigger problems than an inability to argue properly.

What is a good conspiracy theorist and what is a bad one?

How is that determined?
