They haven't issued an immediate response mind. She won't go, I agree - it'd be just another example of her flip-flopping.

Rayvin 5217
"I will be taking part in tonight’s debate because I believe we must give people the chance to hear and engage with the leaders of the main parties before they vote. I have never been afraid of a debate in my life. Labour’s campaign has been about taking our polices to people across the country and listening to the concerns of voters. The Tories have been conducting a stage-managed arms-length campaign and have treated the public with contempt. Refusing to join me in Cambridge tonight would be another sign of Theresa May’s weakness, not strength." --Corbyn

Even Corbyn is getting his act together and average working man in the street like me are far more bothered about his good intentions rather than if he forgets some figures in an interview or whether he is prepared to use Trident. I just hope the philosophy is doable and we don't end up with more austerity in 5 years time. As I've said before, we have a real choice in politics now and if this had happened earlier then I think Brexit wouldn't have happened. Its all about hope. I can't believe you've finally drunk the same koolaid as TT.

Rayvin 5217
Not sure this is going to cut it from May: Q: [From Sky’s Faisal Islam] If you are so strong, and Jeremy Corbyn is so weak, why won’t you debate him tonight? May laughs. She says Corbyn seems keen to be on TV a lot. She says she is more worried about preparing for the Brexit talks. Q: Don’t you think public scrutiny is important? May says she thinks it is. That is why she is taking questions from voters during the campaign. She says she feels sorry for ITV. Corbyn snubbed their debate. She says debates where politicians are squabbling amongst themselves do not do anything for voters.

Anorthernsoul 1221
Theresa May is a quivering shambles. She isn't cut out to be a PM. She can't even fathom the courage to do a TV debate
ewerk 30597
And that's the image that the opposition need to project. How can she claim to be provide strong and stable leadership when she's hiding under her bed tonight like a coward. It's absurd.

Ayatollah Hermione 13863
Anyone see that ridiculous pre-prepared question comparing her to Churchill that she answered today, man? A leader who can only answer very specifically worded questions, asked of her by plants and she's pretending that the EU won't boot her flaps all over the floor. Happy Face 29
Q: There is no doubt that, just as Churchill was needed during world war two, you are needed now. But I am worried you are going to take away our freedoms with your policy with regard to British viewers. People not involved in terrorism will end up being investigated. I have a problem with that. Q: Mrs may, your campaign has the momentum of a freight train. Why are you so popular?
