All we can do is minimise the number of seats they win and hurt May's mandate. Hopefully neither she or Corbyn will last very long after that happens and we'll do it all again relatively quickly with a more palatable labour leader for Middle England. The whole country is taken hostage by pensioners, every single time. "The demographic breakdown also shows that Labour has a lead over the Conservatives among the unskilled social class DE by 43% to 36%. Labour is also ahead among 25-to 34-year-olds – just – by 43% to 34%. This is the first time in the campaign that these two groups have shown stronger support for Labour than Conservatives. It should be noted, however, that in the key skilled working class C2 voters the Conservatives retain a lead, although the gap has narrowed to only two points to 40% to 38%. The unskilled working class and 25- to 34-year-olds join the 18- to 24-year-olds, students and black and minority ethnic voters as the key groups in which Corbyn can expect to find strong support. Unfortunately for Labour, these are the groups with the lowest turnout when it comes to actually voting in the election. It should also be kept in mind that taken together, these groups of voters total 400 out of ICM’s sample of 1,470. Not going to happen. im still wary all this free stuff is doable and concerned about the likes of Abbott etc but am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt and take a punt. Even Corbyn is getting his act together and average working man in the street like me are far more bothered about his good intentions rather than if he forgets some figures in an interview or whether he is prepared to use Trident. I just hope the philosophy is doable and we don't end up with more austerity in 5 years time. As I've said before, we have a real choice in politics now and if this had happened earlier then I think Brexit wouldn't have happened. Its all about hope. The US ones could at least claim that Hillary would have done fuck all for them as well (since her campaign had nothing to do with their issues). These people can't claim that about Corbyn.
