Good Friday sees Newcastle entertain Leeds in what will be their first league visit to SJP outside the top flight since our Mick Quinn-inspired 5-2 success back in August 1989.

It's a 7.45pm start and a complete sell out.

NUFC: Updates on the fitness or otherwise of DeAndre Yedlin, Ciaran Clark, Jack Colback and Isaac Hayden are awaited, but Dwight Gayle is set for a further spell on the sidelines with hamstring trouble.

LUFC: There are doubts over both Liam Bridcutt and Hadi Sacko.

Garry Monk's side sit fifth in the table and beat Preston 3-0 at Elland Road on Saturday - a fourth successive league victory on home turf.

Away from home though their form is less impressive, with back to back defeats at Reading and Brentford following a draw at Fulham.

Referee: Chris Kavanagh - the Lancashire official has had the pleasure of our company on no less than four previous occasions this season: the 1-1 draw at Villa, 2-1 wins at Preston and Brentford and 2-2 draw at home to Bristol City.

Key points from Rafa Benitez's presser

- DeAndre Yedlin, Ciaran Clark and Dwight Gayle are all edging close to a return from injury - but Rafa confirmed Gayle will miss the games against Leeds and Ipswich

- Benitez insists the focus is on themselves. They won’t be paying attention to other results

- The gaffer says they have analysed what they did wrong in Saturday’s defeat to Sheffield Wednesday and he is confident there won’t be a repeat of those mistakes against Leeds tomorrow.

- Rafa says the priority is to be promoted. Whether that is in first or second, the priority is merely promotion
