Isegrim 9778
I thought the issue was the lying part? Lying is bad enough, but (wilful) lying under oath is committing a crime. That should be a bit of an issue, especially if you are the attorney general.
Dr Gloom 21924
Obama is accused of wire tapping Trump Tower in a random tweet from the president, without any evidence offered to support the claim. Comey, no big fan of the democrats you'd say after what he oversaw with Hillary in the run up to the election, rejects the claim. Trump is off his tits. How can you tweet something like that with nothing credible to support it? Apparently it's all to do with something he heard on a talk show hosted by a former chief of staff to Reagan's attorney general.
Happy Face 29
I feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone where nothing that has gone before is remembered. We know that the NSA are storing every email and every text and details of every call and that anyone with a login can access those details. Why does Trump think Obama would have to order a tap on him specifically and why does Clapper (who denied any blanket collection in the first place) have to come out and couch a half denial in terms of court orders and being unaware of what other agencies are up to and why does his denial even count for anything? If Trump doesn't want to be surveilled he's in a unique position to instruct the NSA to stop bulk collection.

Happy Face 29
Democratic party policy of blaming everything on Putin and electing another corporate Democrat to be chair seems not to be encouraging the public that they're worth support. Rayvin 5223
I reckon Labour would be in the same position had they elected someone other than Corbyn. Tbf, that position might well be better than where they are now, but they'd not be rampant in the polls by any stretch.

Rayvin 5223
For different reasons though. EDIT - I can't be sure of that actually. I assume last time around, with Foot, it was about actual socialist ideals? This time around it was more about rattling the cage of the centreground and forcing them back to the left. Very similar - he was attacked on the basis of not being prime minister material - lacking stature, not being a patriot (cnd) and not "looking" the part. As we keep saying, a lot of traditional labour supporters and those who occasionally vote that way see these as blockers no matter how much they may agree with his policies.
