So what? You're making a classic logical fallacy here.

The fallacy was the MSM narrative in classic defensive mode. The monster is taking over....Build higher walls!

Then the monster said he was building the walls.

Trust me his team are controlling the narrative. Slick and shiny and you can't really get a handle on it.

My appraisal of Trump is changing. I initially thought his rhetoric was just a ploy to get him elected by the braindead masses. Now I'm coming to the conclusion that he's genuinely a moron with a personality disorder. It's scary to think that he could have ever got elected, I just hope the establishment mechanisms are sufficiently robust to stop him doing catastrophic damage.

Let's use Occam's razor here. He looks like a moron, he talks like a moron, he acts like a moron. He is a moron.

Yep. It's also a frankly fucking ridiculous argument to try and say that because he became the Republic nomination then the President means it was all part of some master plan from the evil genius that is Donald Trump. It was a unique set of circumstances.

He's a moron but people don't mind. That's the crux.

Yup. They analyzed the Bush and Reagan early months. All this stuff was said about both of them. Idiots, clueless, actor, no experience etc...

He continues to position himself as the victim. He is anything but we know that....

He's played up the rhetoric he has in order to win the states he could.

Changing rhetoric now would lose him those states and not gain him any support whatsoever from his critics.

Serving the interests of the wealthy now he's in must be counterbalanced by siding with his supporters against the media, the Mexicans, the Muslims.

His supporters will forgive his corporate subservience if he maintains animosity against their biggest foes.

None of that is to say he's clever. He's doing what the polling people tell him to and struggling to be coherent when he does.

Don't matter.

I'm not suggesting it does, however you brought them up as a direct comparison to Trump, who you are also arguing is a clever manipulator who is playing people. You're not even remotely consistent in your own arguments which is why it's so transparent you're just after a few chomps

The comments are interesting. I'm no psychologist which is pretty much a pseudoscience anyway, but I diagnose he's a wrong un.

Sorry, just seen its already been posted. There's a big difference between psychiatrists (qualified doctors with extensive additional training) and psychologists

You've seen the state of the team behind him?

I know mate. I still giggle that they got away with such flim flam. But there is some method there. The longer they can control the narrative the longer he can be kept out of harms way with reg to the real serious things which they probably have no idea what to do about.

His approach certainly isn't as sophisticated and slick as you maintain. He's a chancer who is yet to realise that he isn't campaigning any more and that it's time to govern.

They haven't worked out how to govern so continue with what has worked in the past....This is his real weakness. If the press got on his case about serious Governance I don't think he has any insight or answers yet. So they will continue with the fireworks till they get some semblance of a coherent policy for the big issues. The big issues in America are endemic and almost impossible to deal with as you know.

They will continue narratives that talk to their base.
