TheGingerQuiff 2412
Gonna say you're wrong “It’s not natural to me. It’s not my position – I came here as a striker – but I will always work for the team and play where I need to and where I am asked to.

The Fish 11080
I think he's a forward, but he's played off the flanks much more than from the centre. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yoan-gouffran/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/23825 Edited September 29, 2016 by The Fish
ewerk 31600
Which is exactly his position.
Howay 12496
Aye he scored a few goals when we first got him and got in good positions, then Pardew told him enough was enough and you can't be attacking down the wings he needed to hang back and cover him man, then drilled it 5 days a week. Dickie 0
yes he was totally pardewed. I think he played through the middle against us for Bordeaux at home in the Europa before he signed and he looked decent
Dr Gloom 22542
canny read about the preparation that goes into games now under benitez http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inside-rafa-benitezs-bootroom-inside-11992495

I love anything that lifts the lid a bit on what they're doing behind the scenes, even if it does read a bit like a PR piece put out by the club. Dr Gloom 22542
worth noting there was no opportunity to put out a similar puff piece about preparation or strategy when pardew was in charge though...

Happy Face 29
worth noting there was no opportunity to put out a similar puff piece about preparation or strategy when pardew was in charge though... There were... and under McClaren. I pulled Mark Douglas up for them on Twitter. He would go on about the lessons learned and how we were sorting out the injury problems when we changed so much as a physio. At least in this instance you can believe there's some substance to the changes that have been made.

Howmanheyman 34479
Interesting to have it confirmed that Rafa's people approached Charnley too.If it had been left to Charnley, we'd have got Nigel Pearson in by the last few weeks of pre-season. adios 717
Totally agree. Mike Ashley has been so lucky with Hughton being a revelation in the relegation season and in particular Rafa coming in when he has. If the bloke fell over he'd land with his dick in a Kardashian.
