Howay 12496
Both he and Ronaldo have scored exactly 270 goals since 2009/ last 7 seasons Unreal how matched they are. 9 world player awards on the bounce They're fucking ridiculous tbh. That control Messi showed in the goal Tooj put up was unreal, it really is as if it's glued to his foot a lot of the time. I remember watching him play Chelsea a few years ago and Chelsea just sat deep with 10 men back and Messi would dribble around 3 players before he realized he'd get crowded out and lose the ball if he pushed into the box (and there were no options due to the amount of Chelsea players back) so he'd dribble it back out away from goal back past 2 players, turn towards goal and assess his options He must have done it on 3 or so occasions during the game. Howay 12496
I particularly like the bit at the end where "Ty" yells at the other bloke asking if he thinks he's "more committed" than him, since Ty is wearing an Arsenal hat, headphones, coat, zip top, and I'm assuming t-shirt, track pants, socks, shoes, and glasses, there is no way anyone is more committed than him. Tom 14012
It's pretty sad really. I don't think any self respecting bloke would stand there & entertain that level of debate. The presenter can barely get a question in without somebody shouting over the top but I suppose in fairness he doesn't need to as the shouting match gets him views & views make him money. "Claude" is a bit of a prick mind, typical entitled arsehole but you can tell he's the type who wouldn't get on our back for wanting someone better than Pardew. It seems to be the same shite every week on Arsenal TV. It's on my Twitter timeline posted or RTd by scores of different accounts. The debate is never far off Wenger In/Out. That kid on Man United TV who Gemmill said was their "The Fish" spoke more sense than you'll ever get on Arsenal TV & he was about 11.

Howmanheyman 33267
Obviously you can't tar them all with the same brush, but there's no doubt having heard enough of arsenal fans through the years, there's a fucking boatload of entitled, hissey fitting wankers following that club. I'm about as disillusioned as I've ever been with our support but we're still fucking light years away from the likes of these daft cunts.

Park Life 71
It's the same nearly every year. They fall away Dec/Jan. Even last last year when they went close only had 4 more wins than West Ham and were 10pts behind Leicester. Arsenal have needed a commanding DM and another CD for about 10 years and before that there was the GK issue. Wenger continues to buy very sexy arse wriggling young boys. He rarely gets the finished article bar Sanchez and to an extent goldfish eyes. One has been semi-converted into a striker a role I'm still not convinced he's really happy in and the other ghosts out of crunch games and has no engine. Alex 35098
Discussed this with Tooj and a few others before but the strange thing about Wenger is that his best sides at Arsenal have fused flair with pragmatism and steel. It's his abandonment of that in place of a more purist philosophy which has seen them be relatively unsuccessful under him.

They still don't have those one or two players who leave the foot in or will step on your feet as you jump. Just catwalk queens on the silk road. You know they have a spa and eat sushi at the training ground with Buddhist chants to calm their souls. And its a problem thats been highlighted every season since Viera/Gilberto era pretty much. Wenger is a stubborn stubborn man though.

Alex 35098
Absolutely, hence 'relatively'. All I was saying was it seems to be almost forgotten that Wenger has abandoned a winning formula as opposed to it no longer being the case that you can win it his way. It's only been his way in the second half of his reign at Arsenal.
Park Life 71
Once he lost that def he inherited the 'relative' downward spiral began. Losing those like Viera and Song made it worse. Poor record against top 4 sides for ages now. Edited December 19, 2016 by Park Life

Wenger has made that club through stability and constantly winning trophies, there is no entitlement although Arsenal supporters seem to believe there is. What's his record, 3 league titles, 6 FA Cups and playing in Europe constantly for 20 years. If someone had been that successful at Newcastle they'd have the keys to the city and be allowed to shag whoever they like.

I agree with the rest.

Poor record against top 4 sides for ages now. Nah, he built another great side but it had the likes of Gilberto Silva in the engine room. Ljunberg was a team player rather than one of the pretty midfielder's he's obsessed with now. There was plenty steel in the back four as well which, as Ewerk mentions, was all players he brought in. I think Bergkamp was about the only regular he inherited.

That's failure for a club with that turnover. And that pea coat!!! Edited December 19, 2016 by Park Life

What a monumental wanker, it must be so tough supporting a side that basically never comes lower than 4th and wins a cup every few years.
