Is Hayden the last one from the Ashley era we want to shift but can’t? Hendrick and Fraser were hanging around long after they were made to feel welcome too but I think they’re off the books now

Can’t really blame the lad. Ashley, on the other hand….

Exactly. And I very much doubt he's enjoyed the last few years of his career, bouncing around the place, not welcome at his own club at this stage of his career.

He must have been given a six year deal just before the takeover went through

It was Ashley's SOP, need a new player, current player is already here, just extend the contract of the current player, current player becomes new player. No transfer fee required.

It’d be funny as fuck if the club just forgot about him and carried on paying him until he’s about 50.

“ Who’s this I. Hayden?”

” Not sure, never heard of him, must be on the board or something…”

” Fair enough”

I think that actually happened in the (Spanish) Civil Service. Some bloke who never turned up got paid for decades

Yup

We've replaced them with Ruddy and Vlachodimos!

Ruddy has a job, he mentors the younger keepers most of the top teams carry an older experienced keeper.

Ruddy and Gillespie are training goalkeepers, they face shots from the outfield players in training. It reduces the wear and tear/chance of injury on your first two keepers.

Most first choice keepers now aim to make 2-300 “saves” per training session with the ball, but the majority of them are with the goalkeeper coach so they can work on technique etc.

Maybe the fucker should have some dignity rather than just continuing to watch his bank account continue to fill up. The Cunt.
