PaddockLad 18283
My dad’s favourite player . And my mum’s. Whenever the Lawman appeared on tv she would always say “oh yeah Denis Law, we used to see him in the clubs in town, he had a big blue jag…” RIP. One of Man Utd & Scotland’s greatest ever players

Toonpack 10799
Scored with a back heel from 6 yards to relegate Man U whilst playing for City, he looked mortified/gutted, loved him for that, the goal that is, not his reaction. RIP 2
Alex 36156
I think he’d probably get in a Britain and Ireland all time XI and at the very least he’d be on the bench. About 5ft8 and 10 stone at his peak and hard as fucking nails. I once saw him in Benidorm when I was about 10 where he appeared to be reluctantly buying his wife a 3/4 length leather coat from an expensive boutique and I remember my dad and his brother (two of the least impressed by famous people you could meet) being a bit awestruck at seeing him. Absolutely fucking world class footballer

Howmanheyman 35242
Technically we could've lost at Filbert Street and still stayed up so I didn't bother celebrating our last minute OG winner.

Monkeys Fist 44182 Posted Tuesday at 20:45 Share Posted Tuesday at 20:45 Bit late to the party, but I’ve just heard that Peter Yarrow, singer, songwriter (most famously for Puff the Magic Dragon), social activist and convicted (and pardoned) paedo died earlier this month. His band mates are hastily reprinting their comeback tour posters as Just Paul and Mary.
