Saw him in the toon once*, can't really remember it. RIP Mr President. *He said howay the lads and if rtg was a thing then they'd have lost their fucking minds or claimed he was doing their version or something? 2
Monkeys Fist 44007
Jimmy Carter was the last Prez who was a genuinely good bloke. His passing probably won’t be hugely noted, unfortunately , which is a shame, because as I said, he was the last of the good guys. RIP Jimmy I am ridiculously pissed, but, tomorrow, when I’m sober, I’ll say the same thing- bloke was a genuinely good lad. RIP

The stuff he has done since is impressive and steeped in humanitarian beliefs, instead of politics - that said, losing to Reagan was the beginning of the end for the US as we knew it. I'd argue that Obama is a genuine, good guy but his party and the world at large has moved a long way from Jimmy Carter's time. Reagan only beat him because of a dodgy "don't release the hostages yet" deal, seems the Republicans have a certain history 🙄

PaddockLad 18122
Read an article about him about a decade ago. Sadly a complete piss pot even by then, I think his problems contributed to him disappearing from our screens…. Shame, I loved WLIIA (and Cheers) on a Friday night before I was old enough to drink… don’t remember watching them much after that 😆
