The Van (1996) - IMDb

Is that Jimmy Rabbett’s old man from The Commitments?

There’s a good chance my mums side of our family are descendants of some Rabetts from Donegal… I think to prove it I’d have to come across and do some digging though so when is good for you? ☺️

Oh goody, the one thing we really love here in Ireland is some no nowt foreigner coming over to find the relatives of their great great great great granny. We never get that happening.

A cruel mate who saw him drop a ball to see Cummins score a winner at Roker park against us has just said it would probably be fitting if someone dropped his coffin. Memories linger long with some of our lot, mind.

Toby Keith kicked off the antagonism towards the Dixie Chicks iirc. They questioned the US invasion of Iraq so in turn had to be opposed and attacked. No one is allowed to truly think for themselves in the land of the free. You do so at risk of getting a bullet in your head by someone whipped up by the likes of Toby Keith. As the article implies KK knew a bit more about true patriotism than that fool ever would…

Aye, it’ll be him. Pretty sure he had some massive hit about getting revenge for 9/11

“Courtesy of the red white and blue”, the Dixie Chicks objected to it which kicked everything off against them I think…

Criticised Bush onstage at a gig in London, of all places, and got blacklisted.
