trooper 940
8 games to play & 19th in the league. We have strikers who can't score. A botched together defence & now a 3rd choice keeper. It's going to take something now for us to stay up.
Slayer 3
Fuckin Mackem tramps. Seeing them cunts go down would be like humping that Wonder Woman from that new Batman v Superman movie.
trooper 940
Elliot was reportedly taken to hospital for a scan and in his post-match press conference, Ireland Coach Martin O'Neill described the injury as "really serious".
Rayvin 5226
At the end of the day lads, the club will be here next season and at least we might win some games. Ashley will have paid for his fucking stupidity, literally, and we can start all over again. We were pretty much going to have to start all over again in the summer anyway. I think the reason most give a fuck about staying up now is the prospect of Benitez being our manager, if we go down he's off and we'll end up with some old, washed up (or never was) British manager and repeat the process we've seen the last few year. If we stay up Benitez might actually stay (assuming Ashley doesn't piss him off) and we might actually see some good football / a cup run for the first time in years. Aye there's a lot at stake the reawakening of the football side of Newcastle United if we stay up & Rafa stays. Otherwise we risk doing a Middlesbrough & being stuck in the Championship for years. And we still have two fit keepers. No chance of an emergency loan.

The Fish 10872
What do you reckon about survival now Mr Fish ? No real change. 68% sure we're going down. If you're relying on a distinctly average 'keeper to endure survival, you're fucked already. IF we survive, it'll have little to do with which replacement 'keeper we field. Rafa gets the defence organised enough to keep out Norwich, Villa, Palace & Swansea, AND encourages the forwards to maybe try beating some of the worst defences in the league... that's what will drag us out of this shit. trooper 940
You must admit though Elliot played a lot better than we all thought he would.l agree about sorting out the defence & getting the forwards scoring.
TheGingerQuiff 2412
We have a habit of making 'keepers look better than they are because they tend to be bombarded with shots, making the odd spectacular looking save more likely
