scoobos 298
look Elliott has done well, but he's still inconsistent and to say he's proved himself better than Krul seems a bit too much.
Kid Dynamite 7169
Krul was a liability before he got injured. Elliot earned us a point with that save in the second half

I couldn't disagree more.Elliott is probably this seasons player of the year and has been our most consistent player.
strawb 4378
Elliot has improved a lot by playing more regularly and Krul was in poor form before his injury. Krul is still a better keeper.

ewerk 31195
It's Elliot's position to lose IMO. For too long we've complained about player's being automatic selections regardless of form.
Holden McGroin 6783
Elliott will be a good keeper for us in the championship next season. Although, isnt his contract up? Edited March 23, 2016 by Holden McGroin

essembeeofsunderland 811
Unless his form dips drastically,Elliott would be my keeper next season,no matter what league we are in.Krul still has a reputation as a good keeper so I would expect Ashley will look to move him on. Christmas Tree 4821
I love Krul but I certainly wouldn't drop Elliot. Some of his shot stopping this year has been Given'esque.
Rayvin 5295
He also has far better distribution. Dunno though, I think Krul still edges it in terms of organising his defence and decision making for me... no denying that Elliot is getting better though, and that's hugely positive. Elliott is still paying for some fairly poor displays early on in his Newcastle career. I don't think he's better than Krul, and I certainly don't think he's better than Krul can become with the right coaching. Have to remember they're both not that old in 'keeping terms (29 & 27 respectively).
