Leicester City v Newcastle United

I've been with Spurs for a while. If Leicester win it it's just going to make our utter failure to move on all the more depressing. Would rather the fairy tale doesn't come to pass.

Aye pretty arrogant bunch especially considering how fucking crap they were around a year ago themselves, still they're not wrong saying we are shite mind. They did struggle to beat Norwich, Norwich and drew with West Brom recently so although I still think it's too early for Rafa and we'll lose, there's definitely a chance for us to pick up points which I thought was impossible just last week.

Park the bus, break on the counter. Too many teams (including us) have played little old Leicester and not given them any respect. There at home they should be trying to break us down, there far too good on the counter

Aye their pace on the counter gets them a lot of goals, the focus needs to be on limiting Mahrez. All the talk about Benitez seems to be he's excellent at setting his sides up which is why I now think we actually have a shot at picking up something from the match, with McClaren we'd have got opened up and it'd have been 3-0.

I'm thinking this too, Rafa will get the lads organised. A point would be great going into the Derby, especially a clean sheet

Especially with 3 days prep rather than just the 1. All I expect is the team to look like they give a fuck and look more organized, if we get points that's a bonus and would definitely give the team a good boost. First game I've been excited for this season really.

I dunno what it is, but I still don't see Leicester as a team of worldbeaters. As has been said, they have one good tactic that no one takes seriously enough, and it's got them into such a good position this season. They also work hard and have a high level of determination.

That said, they're still a bunch of players around the same level as Danny Simpson at the end of the day.

For me, we'll lose unless it turns out that McClaren was the problem all along. If the squad was in any way culpable (highly likely) then Benitez won't have been able to effect any meaningful change in time to do anything about this.

I'm in more shock about the positivity from you lot than I am about Rafa.

Fucking twilight zone.

I'm nervous as fuck about every match till the end of the season. It could be such a turning point if he can keep Newcastle in the Premiership and stay on as manager.

Are you lot all on crack?

 The last few are obviously joking, but I'm usually the stupidly optimistic one on here, though not quite as stupidly optimistic as you. ;)

Call me pessimistic but I've firmly written this game off already from an NUFC point of view, damage limitation on Monday, the revolution starts with the Derby.

Come on lads the inks not even dry on his contract yet & we're going to beat Leicester, with the same squad that couldnt beat Bournemouth at home. I know he's good but it's going to taik more than 1 or 2 training sessions

Same here. I'd be over the moon if we grabbed a point tomorrow

A point would be amazing. I'll be happy if we're competitive and look like a football team again even if we get nothing from it.
