GrimsbyMag 0
...will it be the biggest upset in sporting history? Two seasons ago they were still in the Championship. One season ago, they were fighting for PL survival and now they sit 5 points of 2nd place. The only thing that comes close, was Greece winning Euro 2004. Renton 21985
Denmark in 92 as well. It'll be by far the greatest upset of the premier league like. Fairly fucked off we'll remember it for relegation most probably....
Monroe Transfer 0
I'm pretty apathetic about it. Fair play to them either way.
GrimsbyMag 0
Just had a quick look on Wiki and Leeds won the old 1st Division in 2 seasons after being promoted back in 89/90.
Howmanheyman 33834
You had to Google that? Think Forest and Derby did the same 1st season up both under Clough.
Chronic the Drug Wasp 6
I thought we were ganna dee a 'Leeds' 94-95 but we had a dodgy patch going into Winter and then we sold Cole, which resulted in Paul Shitson leading our line for the rest of the season. I remember feeling disappointed finishing 6th, fucking hell.
Alex 35572
Think because Leeds had a canny bit of money in relative terms back then it would be the biggest upset since Forest. Would love to see them do it. Would actually like to see Spurs win it if they don't. Got some sound family who are Spurs from Herts. Used to follow them all over back in the 80s and used to come and visit when they played us or the mackems. Went to Roker Park with them once back when it was Cannon League Division 1. Alan Brazil and Garth Crooks were playing for them and Barry Venison and Gary Rowell for Sunderland. Was a fucking awful game. And Spurs haven't been bankrolled so credit for the way they've gotten to where they are. For all their cup successes they've only won it twice before and the last time was 55 years ago. Sorry, Stevie.

Kid Dynamite 7169
Yes The 18 month swing from Xmas 2014 to Season end 2016 is unheard of in the premier league, and that's before you even factor in the billionaire owned clubs. One of Leicesters starting XIs earlier in the season cost £21mil and their star striker used to play a couple of levels above Sunday League 5 or 6 years ago Unreal fairy tale

PaddockLad 17645
Leicester have won 5 of their last 6 games by a single goal. Shades of Manu in 96? 7 points clear with a month to go. It's 20 years ago almost exactly since the 4-3 at Anfield, after which we started to unravel with no real championship winning experience in the squad bar Pedro. Really hope they don't blow it t from here. We've got a bit of history with their lot in the past (last day of the season 92 springs to mind!) but since then Ive worked with a load of them and they were all pretty sound lads. In some ways it's a bit like the season we finished 5th, but a far more extreme version. We finished above Chelsea,Spurs and Liverpool. Leicester have done miles better than that though. And they spent barely a third part of what we have to get relegated.

Although they're doing it as front runners in the title race with the added pressure that brings.
PaddockLad 17645
"Every silver lining has a cloud....." http://gu.com/p/4t268?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other Just to say the hugely admirable David Conn has a massive hard on for Dave Richards. He annihilated him in a book about a decade ago for being, to all intents and purposes, the man responsible for ground safety at Hillsborough at the time of the disaster and his subsequent rise amongst the great and the good of football to become the chief exec of the premier league and the knighthood that came with it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beautiful-Game-Searching-Soul-Football-ebook/dp/B004FEG2Z4/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1460386454&sr=1-1&keywords=David+conn

ewerk 31195
He has the chance to continue living the dream with Leicester in the CL for the first time next season. If he is still scoring goals next season then he's likely to still get a move next summer if he wants to. I'd be disappointed if he jumped ship at this point.
