Very decent half. Need to make sure we dont regret these chances.

Horrendous horrendous refereeing. The standard of the fucking officiating in this league sometimes is unbelievable...

I'm sure Rooney scored quite recently with a player in the line of site but red shirt rule applied.

Fair enough disallowing it at a push but he should be sacked for not raising his flag until consulted.

Should be well clear. Plenty of possession, plenty of breaks, plenty of balls into the box.

Let's just remember this if it goes to shit and McLaren gets the pelters after the game.

Funny how you're praising McClaren when it's going right but the players when we're losing...

On the balance of the first half he did well, put a good strong attacking side out and we've looked to have an idea of what we are doing on the pitch. The players have went out and executed the plan so far well and we're winning, let's hope it all continues 2nd half.

How are Shelvey and Townsend playing?

Shelvey is about 300% better than the Everton match. Townsend hasn't been good, hasn't been bad either but I'd hope that in a game where we've dominated he'd have shown a little more.

He has looked useful without doing anything concrete.

This. He should have just passed that though, shot into a cluster of players instead.
