I did a bus tour of it last month.

Rate it?  It's something we are looking at next year. Deffo want to go to Italy.  We were thinking Sicily, but the Amalfi coast looks beautiful.

I mean, I've never been but it looks amazing on travel programmes. There's nowhere better than Italy, just go for it.

We did Milan and Maggiore a couple of years ago. Stunning.

I love Italy, superb country.

Aye I thought it was decent but most others seem to rate it more highly than me. The Amalfi coast itself is pretty much a day trip from Sorrento. Doing it by boat would be a better idea imo as you get to see the coast from sea rather than being driven along it but it wasn’t an option for us. There’s plenty to see in that part of Italy so it’s definitely worth doing at some stage.

The holiday was good, I'd like to say "Corfu is nice" but if I'm honest we didn't see much of it apart from the airport, taxi-interior, and hotel. Major ups were great weather, good food, welcoming staff and all that. Downs were the littlest one getting Hand, Foot and Mouth and incapable of sleeping unless she's on one of me or the Mrs.

Still, nowt perks you up after 5 broken hours of sleep quite like a punchy Bloody Mary with your toes in the Ionian sea.

5.8/6.7 would recommend.

Just got back from 2 days in Amsterdam with the family. Somehow managed to avoid it until 42, but what a lush city. Barely any cars in the city centre, little to no rubbish, beautiful architecture, everyone is bilingual, lovely food etc. f

Had a great time. Only let down slightly by some absolute clampetts on the ferry.

It’s a very nice city, often overshadowed by its naughty reputation.

We had a day trip there with the kids when we were in Holland.
Train in to the top of the city and then a wander, food, boat tour of the canals.
Tbe architecture is great, very different to any UK cities.
Great day and we all got royally baked on some quality green outside the local knocking shop before getting the train back.

Netherlands is massively underrated as a destination imo. Some of the other cities are great too, lush beaches, easy (casual) cycling.

And bitterballen. 🥰

The Hague and Gouda were both great days out when we were there.

The cycleways are just fantastic tbh.

Fist Jnr and I covered some miles on our rented granny cycles

Another example of your collection of parents of the year prizes.
