Monkeys Fist 42178
Just got home. 60mph winds on the channel crossing, then had to wait for an hour to get in to Dover harbour as there were no free docking spaces. Not even back on home soil and the fucking traffic jams started

Alex 34948
Been on the Amsterdam ferry in the winter when it was about force 10 coming home. You then realise why it’s cheap at that time of year with that being reasonably common. At least I wasn’t one of the poor buggers who appeared to be seasick for the entire journey. I was back on land for about half a day before it felt like the ground wasn’t moving 1

PaddockLad 17144
Did Wellington > Picton across the cook straight, booked on for the 1pm crossing, it didn’t arrive into Wellington till 6pm for us to start boarding, accompanied by a kiwi TV news team who proceeded to take shots of the piles of vomit lying about the passengers area (that this passes for news in NZ is one of the greatest joys of my life ) We eventually left about 9pm, with much of the spew still lying around…. just about held on to our guts until we reached Marlborough Sounds where all suddenly became calm so I had a pint to celebrate 🍺

Christmas Tree 4711
Having a lovely, kid free uk tour with Mrs Tree. Chester was lovely, Snowdonia gorgeous. Off to Cardiff tomorrow to relive my sofa king days at my favourite restaurant and then off for a few days sea kayaking around Cornwall. Fucking lovely stuff
