For 13 1/2 hours I was pressed against the window like the last commuter squeezed on the Japanese underground.

Gets back to his old home town and the nostalgia almost overwhelms him, he takes a deep breath and shouts out unashamedly to all who can hear him..... "Int Burnleh BRILLIANT!!!" Half an hour later...... ......When's the flight back to New Zealand, again, love?"
ewerk 30602
Have you ever been to New Zealand? It's basically the antipodean Burnley. Complete shit hole. Edited May 10 by ewerk

Isegrim 9774
Normally we would be off for two weeks in France and Spain tomorrow. But my mother in law decided it would be a good time to break her wrist. As she is the carer for my father in law won’t be looking for places where we can park our campervan but for a place in a care home for my father in law. This week can seriously fuck off.

Alex 35079
I had a quick look at the weather forecast for the place in Turkey we’re off to next month. It’s going to reach 44c / 111f today
Gemmill 44864
Oof. We've booked Kos for next summer so I'm fully expecting forest fires next year.

Kos was fucking mental when I went in June a couple of years ago. If I had your complexion, I’d just walk around inside a portable radiation shield
Gemmill 44864
We're going in August. We got a swim-up room, so I can just see me lying inside on the bed all day and occasionally walking out in a morph suit and dunking myself in the pool.
PaddockLad 17255
We’re off on a road trip to the sun tomorrow…Manchester, Alnmouth and Scotland Pet Shop Boys on Sunday night at Co Op Live though 🕺 💃😀 Then a few days in Gods Country walking the mutt on the beaches before the frankly middle class pretentious-fest of the Scottish Borders Book Festival in Melrose (with the utter debauchery of Scotland v Germany with my brother in Edinburgh neatly sandwiched in 😆)

Day trip from Glasgow on public transport so Arran's premier tourist attraction will have to wait until next time. With all the low cloud we might have driven straight past it without realising anyway...
