Colo vs Ramsey there... jesus wept

Anytime he's isolated he looks more like one of those training figures than an actual player.

I hope it's possible for our players to be buoyed by a loss.

the line of the 6yard box not the goal line, looks like Jaanmat...

It was Janmaat who you're talking about but Koscielny was ahead of him anyway Janmaat was half a yard outside the six yard box. All completely irrelevant of course and there was not a lot in it.

There have been plenty of games this season when we've looked typically inept and gutless. But I've lost count of the games where we've played some good stuff and failed to pick up the points the performance deserved. We should have won or drawn that. Did not deserve to lose. But the odd good shift is not going to keep us up. We need big investment this month. New left back, new central midfielder and a new striker all must haves. A new winger would be good too.

It's horrible that our finishing failings are now being heralded as evidence that Arsenal have a title winning team and mentality. They were woefully bad for a side currently in first position.

We need a left fullback to give our attack a dimension it's sadly lacking currently.

That Dutch fella who's mates with Gini and has been to SJP often this season? Can't remember his name.

It was there to be won, heartbreaking loss.

The winning chances were there to be taken but alas they weren't.

Thauvin was impressive while he was on and certainly didn't look lightweight.

Mitrovic not doing his job as a goal scorer unfortunately.

It was a surprising performance, I thought we would get hammered.

I usually couldn't give a fuck lately which is why I rarely comment in match threads any more. But today (probably due to too much red wine), I'm fucking seething.

We have a team of absolute wankers who mostly do not give a fuck. They will pick up their millions and hope for warmer climes.

I'd probably keep Elliott, memba, and Sissoko. These fuckers at least seem to try. The rest get by on social media love in from clueless fans.

Mitrovic can't hit a barn door.

Perez has the odd good five minutes in 90

Collocini, Dummett, Colback and Tiote should be playing for Blyth Spartans.

Janmat can't defend and his delivery has been shit.

And Giny (four goal wonder match aside) is shite and has the heart of a pea.

A bunch of fucking Dannys who mostly arnt fit to wear the shirt. Sell the fucking lot on the cheap in January.

Lol. That was actually a pretty decent performance CT. We could have easily won this and we'd all be singing praises right now. Deserved a draw at least.

As others have said already it's not enough.

McClaren's needs to shut up about performances and chances and get the results before we're cut adrift.

I'm not going to say that this results puts us down, because a point you get from Arsenal away has to be classed as a bonus point and this is a game we would expect to lose, or more, thrashed.

I'm encouraged by our performance for most of the match, we created chances, we dominated midfield, overall we were the better team on the day. What is discouraging though is our ability to put away chances, it's like everyone seems to shit themself when a chance presents itself to them.

If we play like we have done for the majority of this game across the remainder of the season then we will stay up, however we always put on a performance against the big teams and not the teams around us, we need to change that.

Ans probably, had we got any points they would have definitely twiddled their thumbs in the transfer window. They may still do that but hopefully a far worse predicament should give them a further kick up the arse.

And I know that it's the points that matter, there are two questions that will determine if we stay up or not.

1. Can we play like that against the teams around us?

2. Can we put away just 1 or 2 of our chances?

If you answer yes to them then we will stay up, play like we did today against lesser opposition and we will create more chances, we only need to put away 1 or 2 of them away when you like we did today.
