I muted Musk a long time ago and have since had very little of the right wing shite on my timeline. I'm guessing the two things aren't unrelated.

Bluesky is the answer

People set up starter packs which you can clidk "follow all" on, and you'll have, for example, all the UK political journalists, or whatever. There's a few people doing NUFC starter packs.

Been on a while now and I have read loads of posts and have not felt even a little bit of angst. It’s great tbh.

I have given politics a swerve mind, apart from some US stuff, just for the lols as the place implodes.

So Kirsti Noem as Homeland Security chief evidently, the Kirsti Noem who took a puppy to a gravel pit and shot it dead because it wouldn't behave, y'know like puppies do. Cunt.

Department of government efficiency = 2 co-chairmen, well that's efficient.

Defence Secretary - Some FOX news blokey 😂

I wonder if ank of Musk's contracts will be cut? I mean, I can see no conflict of interests here.

Two trillion dollars of cuts, doesn't seem possible whilst keeping the country remotely functional. This is what worries me about there being another election. On the one hand, if he does what he says, there will be chaos, government will grind to a halt, there will be high inflations etc and media will capture scenes of insane cruelty re: immigrants as Pedro the gardener is interned in a concentration camp etc. He doesn't get re-elected under those circumstances (or his son doesn't, or Musk whoever). On the other hand, if he doesn't deliver on his promises, this time round he can't blame anyone else. So that leaves the last option, subvert democracy in one way or another.

NASA has a $25bn budget. I wonder if Musk has any interest in handing that to the private sector?

Ask Jimbo.

But that gives you an idea of the size of the cuts. Cutting NASA completely would get him just over 1% of where he needs to be.

Here’s my prediction, he’s going to fuck up massively by giving these roles to people who really don’t know what they’re doing. He’s going to lose the mid terms so badly that it’s going to screw his last 2 years and it’s going to end badly for America as they will suffer another downturn which is all their own.

I think it was Scaramucci who said either he appoints all these wingnuts that he's got floating around him and it's a shitshow, or he appoints a load of really competent people from the business world and plays golf for 4 years.

It'll actually turn out to be a combo of the two: appoint wingnuts and play golf for 4 years.

It's going to be a disaster but at least for a short period the economy will get a bounce from Biden's efforts.

I don't think any competent and respected business people want anything to do with him this time around.

Anyone with an ounce of sense remembers what happened last time he was in charge. Anyone with a shred of integrity who dared point out when something was wrong was immediately fired and publicly attacked repeatedly and then replaced with a fucking idiot.

He's only got the idiots left - and a bunch of cunts with nefarious ends that he's too thick to spot and/or too compromised to do anything about.

However, I don't think he cares so long as his rap sheet goes away.

The project 2025 nutters will be hoping he'll die early on so they can put their patsy in the seat.

I think Musk, Ivanka and Kushner will disseminate his orders and decrees whilst he’s cheating in the monthly medal

Hes abolishing (amongst many others) the Federal Department of Education, 1000s of redundancies and withdrawal of funding across all 52 states. Look out also for attempts to build condos in Yellowstone and all other national parks and selling of the student loan department to a hedge fund… I think it would be the biggest irony of all time if the national guard has to go in and remove the fucker at gunpoint in about 18 months time   He’s quoted as saying he wants a civil war so he can financially benefit from it. I think by then people will realise they need to be protected from him and his cuntish hench people and the GOP should be strangled to fucking death as it wakes up to its complicit role in transnational organised crime :cuppa:

Apparently people have "conflict of interest" concerns about Musk and Ramaswarmy getting those jobs.

Well let's see the checks and balances of govt swoop in and resolve this.

Looking forward to four more years of these fucking poindexters in the media going "Point of order, sir! You're not playing by the rules." after they spent the whole of the campaign wanging on about how Harris just wasn't getting her message on the economy across, while Trump was doing a bit about a dead golfer having a massive knob.

Ivanka isn't involved this time, is she? She didn't turn up when he had all his kids on stage just pre election.

Anyway, if there's a civil war, he needs to realise that it probably ends with him being chased through the white house with a full nappy.
