Why don't American's care? I just can't get my head around it.

The electorate are one thing, those who should care are being threatened with the end of their careers if they speak out. They’re threatening the GOP & the entire Washington political machine with personal and corporate destruction if they’re opposed in any significant way because that’s been Trump’s tactics all his life; threats, intimidation, use of leverage… what does that remind you of?….

Apparently this is the future if they comply with what’s currently being done…

Just to be clear, that's actually X-AE-12 or whatever he named it. He calls it X for short in the clip somewhere. People have just taken to calling it Kevlar as a consequence of his security purposes for it

I find Rayvin an absolutely vital connection with today's yoofs.

This is a troll to distract people from all the mad shit they're actually doing, I'm sure. Same with "the riviera of the Middle East".

Isn't that what they used to call Lebanon? Sounds about right then.

Nobody in this day and age ought to be assuming their news sources are being unbiased.

The best I’ve found is Forbes channel on YouTube cause it just shows the speeches without giving comment or cutting them down into soundbites that can be spun.

I actually think Trump and Musk are doing the right thing about government spending but you can be the judge by watching it. Which is how the news should be IMO.

Cutting spending to finance tax cuts for the ultra rich is the right thing? I assume you are ultra rich. Jammy bastard.

That’s quite a hot take about me from a standing start.

We’ll see what stage two of this process is but for now stage one seems long overdue.

Stage two is to restrict married women from voting etc. Stage three is full blown project 2025 inspired theocracy and renaming the US, Gilead.

Did you watch the clip? It's 30 mins of uninterrupted Musk waffle, it's hardly been 'spun' by anyone, no one from CNN is even talking. It's actually exactly like what you've suggested it should be. And no one on here believes their news sources are unbiased mate. The newspaper I read most of the time is the Guardian and it's also the newspaper I fact check the most often.

The issue isn't about what he's saying anyway, it's his total lack of accountability to anyone, the lack of transparency, and the bypassing of legal requirements. Congress should be signing off on everything they're doing but aren't being given the opportunity. We just have to 'trust' them.

It's not so much government spending though, it's the complete gutting of entire parts of the government. None of us can say if that's the right or wrong thing, because we don't know enough about the efficiency of the departments and branches of government that are being affected.

But I don't think Musk and his team of incels does either. They are just taking a chainsaw to the whole thing.

Remember when Musk gutted Twitter and the site kept falling over, things stopped working, and there were all sorts of problems. That's what him and his band of misfits are currently doing, but this time with how a country works. Doubt it ends well.

Not going to happen but if it does I’ll come back here and you can give me a celebratory wedgie

Yes I watched it on Forbes.

He will make errors and admitted that, he literally said that. And when errors occur they’ll fix them.

Honestly people have to stop deciding what’s right and wrong depending on if it’s their team or the other team.

If Elon and Donny steal all the money then I won’t support it cause that’s obviously wrong! 😑

Congress are the people who allowed this shit to happen in the first place.

We’ll see. It’s currently 36 trillion in debt, has the most expensive healthcare in the world with some of the poorest outcomes and has spread death and misery across the globe for the last 70+ years…. It’s a low bar!

Because most aren’t on bluesky, as an example, and the mainstream are ignoring/whitewashing it.
